How I Use My Passion Planner
This is my first year in a small, undated weekly Passion Planner. How I use my Passion Planner is as a catch-all planner for everyday life. So far, I am loving it! Now that we are over halfway through the year it is getting a nice amount of chonk to it, and that makes me happy. It holds all of my plans, to-dos and some memory keeping. The only thing I don’t mark in there is my work schedule, unless it is a work meeting or event that happens outside of normal work hours, so I can effectively plan my life. I use Outlook for my work schedule (which is what my company uses) and like it separate from my planner.
For the first part of my planner, I have customized the front pages to suit my needs. This was done by covering up some of the pages that were already there. For instance, I have used some of Passion Planners free downloadables to put a birthday tracker in the front. For the goals page, I made mine more visual by adding images and added my word of the year.
Since I have the undated version, all of my months are together in the beginning of the planner. To be honest, the month pages I don’t really use. I decorate using random washi and stickers. I’ll track my bills, trips, birthdays and books read that month. Behind each month page is a monthly recap. I use this space to memory plan. I include pictures, quotes, scrap paper, notes from friends, or anything else I want to remember in here. It’s been a nice way to memory plan without a big commitment.
I consider myself a functional and decorative planner. This means I like to decorate weekly and monthly spreads with stickers, but keep it more minimal with space to write. Each week I’ll put together a cute spread, usually either celestial or Disney themed. My favorite sticker shops include Little Magic Prints, No White Space Stickers and Simply Me, Kish.
The back pages of the planner are still a work in progress. I have started pages for “books read this year” (which will be completed in December), style inspo, passwords, manifestations, plant care, blog and youtube ideas. Overall I think tracking my manifestations (even little things like free ice cream to the big ones) has been the most rewarding page. I might include some additional pages by the end of the year, such as tracking what MCU shows and movies I watched this year, or include my year end music recap that Spotify puts out.
